Still Here...

You didn’t think I was going away now that we’re open, did you?

We’ve completed three weeks of our “hybrid hair services” and things are going well! Keeping our outdoor setup as an option for clients has given us a greater amount of indoor space to maintain social distance. Our staff has been working hard to keep up with the protocols and the air scrubber is doing its magic. The icing on the cake was the seal of approval from a gracious client that happens to work for the health department. If you still have reservations about coming in, you can request to be the first or last client of the day. This would minimize exposure and as cautious as we are, we want you to feel comfortable during your time with us.

I know I have said it many times in my past letters but I can’t thank you enough to all who have shared their encouraging words and appreciation for the hard work we have done to provide a safe environment. Just those simple comments have truly kept me going.

On that note, I think we have a tendency to lean towards negative thinking; greatly understandable given our current circumstances. I will lean away from it and say my personal experience has been incredibly uplifting: every client that has walked through the door has given us a glimmer of light with their kindness. Being closed for 5 months has obviously changed things and continues to do so, but through the positive comments I see the light at the end of this hazy tunnel. I think we will need about six consistent months to shake things out but we will persevere. Many businesses have sadly closed but those remaining -such as my fellow business peer, Evo Spa- have finally gotten the green light to re-open indoors and they need the support now more than ever. Masks do work! I know I speak for other local businesses like ourselves that we appreciate it as much as you can imagine. And what better way to round out your day of pampering than a spa treatment!

Okay, Salon Facts and Followings…

We are in the final throes of setting up our new software! When this happens, details will follow.

We are also introducing Oribe’s long-awaited treatment experience: Renewal Remedies. These treatments are custom-blended by your stylist to nurture hair back to health by way of foundations and amplifiers that target strengthening, smoothing and color retention. The cost is $40 but if you mention this blog, you’ll get $10 off your first treatment! My contribution for your time reading this!

Thank you again for your continued support. Please keep up with the kindness and empathy and I hope that extends to everyone around you. We have enough stacked against us right now; let's try to pull together because it really does make life better.

Stay safe!
